Nature of Business
PCS is the upstream company in the Singapore Petrochemical Complex in Jurong Island. Its main role is to supply high quality chemical intermediates such as ethylene, propylene, acetylene, butadiene, MTBE, 1-Butene and aromatics to its various pipeline-customers which extends beyond Merbau to Seraya, Sakra and Tembusu, all linked to PCS for their feedstock supply. Output not used in the Complex or locally is exported to regional markets.
PCS also supplies and co-ordinates a full range of common key utilities such as steam, air and seawater and services such as berths for the efficient operation of the entire Complex.
