Nature of Business
MHI Industrial Engineering & Services Private Ltd. (MIES) has a global remit to function as a marketing and service base for chemical plant projects, oil and gas production plants as well as environmental protection plants in regions where market expansion is expected over the long term.
In collaboration with our parent company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), MIES will initially provide certain EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) services on projects. Future plans will include MIES expansion of the business to include the provision of EPC services on all projects in which system integration is required.
MIES has the capability to provide an extensive range of services, including:
• Feasibility studies
• Front End Engineering Design (FEED)
• Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)
• Licensing on MHI's proprietary technology and equipment
Chemical Plants, Oil & Gas Production Plants:
MHI's vast project experience includes the construction of fertilizer plants, methanol plants, PTA plants, polyethylene plants and oil refineries all over the world. This includes the construction of new plants and the modification of existing facilities.
Environmental Protection Plants:
MHI is as a world leader in the supply of environmental technology and equipment and this includes the supply of core specialised parts and licensing for Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) and CO
2 capture technology. This capability separates MHI from other technology suppliers.

MHI has the capability to provide the following services:

MIES is able to draw upon MHI's six research laboratories that support MHI's technologies as it participates in international energy, chemical and environmental projects. This capability is essential in the design of optimal plants that anticipate the needs of our customers and dynamic external factors.
