Established in 1973 by Westinghouse Electric Corp. USA, SWTS, an ISO 9001 certified organisation, is into providing engineering, designing, producing, procuring, installing, testing, commissioning, retrofitting/modernisation, maintaining, servicing and trouble shooting of LV/MV switchgear, MCC, AC/DC
drives, substation and transmission & distribution equipment, transformer, generator, motor, SCADA, PLC, UPS, motor control, generator control, electronic equipment and system, power management system, vessel management system.
Testing and measurement service include partial discharge (PDMO3, Robinson Test Set), high potential, insulation tangent delta/loss angle, insulation capacitance, polarisation index, primary and secondary injection, phase angle measurement of voltage and current, power quality measurement including
harmonics and waveform capture, infrared/thermographic detection, cable fault location and more....
We are accredited with UL and IEC EX for listed rebuilt electrical motors for hazardous locations (EEx d/de, EEx e, Eex nA). Our motor, generator and transformer servicing, repairing and rewinding include working at site. Authorised service agent for Siemens, Baldor Electric, Reliance Motor, Ansaldo motor, WEG, SICME, Alstom, TMEIC, Loher, TDPS (Toyo Denki), Hyosung.
Mechanical services include a general machine shop, equipped with a comprehensive range of machine tools to support the machining and reverse engineering of component from the overhauling of rotating equipment. Other facilities are 60 tons overhead lifting crane, 30 tons dynamic balancing machine, in-situ machining with laser alignment leveling tools, fly-ash cleaning, fusion and non-fusion thermal spray coating, shaft straightening and rebuilding, white metal bearing rebabbitting.
Prime mover controls services - sole agent and distributor of Heinzmann GmbH and Regulateurs Europa Governing system. SWTS also service and sell Woodward, Yanmar and Zexel Governor, including providing customised training, unit exchange and replacement program, retrofitting of hydraulic system to
micro processor base control system.
Parts & assemblies - sales of multi-vendors IEC and ANSI NEMA control products and spare parts: Motor, transformer, generator, AC/DC drives, switchgear, circuit breaker, contactor, PLC, protective relay, MCC, switchboard, busway, soft starter,
electrical engineering software, MCCB, MCB, cable. Key working partners are Siemens, GE Multilin, Eaton, Areva, Baldor, Reliance, TMEIC, Fuji Electric, PACS Industries, SKM System Analysis Inc, Somar International, Arcteq.
