Nature of Business
PCS is the upstream company in the Singapore Petrochemical Complex in Jurong Island (Merbau Sector). The company operates 2 olefin cracker trains producing various petrochemical products such as ethylene, propylene, butadiene, 1-butene, hydrogen, acetylene, benzene, toluene, xylene and MTBE. Much of these products are supplied directly to the downstream
companies in the Complex while some are exported.
The Company also provides utilities supply such as water, steam & compressed air to the downstream companies. It also manages the common facilities and services such as security, fire fighting and berths.
